“Performance Management” is one of the key success factors in the organization. You need to make it right to move forward as it will crate a chain reaction either good or bad after the “Performance Appraisal (PA) Discussion”. I have led this training to enhance the understanding of its concept, the importance of "Performance Management" and how to communicate the final result to the employee last week for both Thai and English Sessions. Here are the short tips for PA Conversation:
1. Take time and ensure you have look and think it through at least 3 times before finalizing the score for each employee 2. Prepare yourself for the evaluation before a meeting with your subordinates. It is very essential as a leader to prepare such relevant information to be able to debate and give constructive feedback in the meeting and the rational behind your judgement. 3. Set up a one-on-one private setting with clear objectives of the meeting 4. Start with smile and build rapport with your team to create such a nice and cozy feeling to begin with 5. Discuss the score and the way to move forward and prepare to listen and open for discussion 6. End your session with positive note even if the overall conversation doesn’t go well as plan 7.
